1. What inspired you to write?
We are all storytellers by nature and necessity. Stories are how we enter and how we make sense of the world around us.
2) Are you a reader? What are some of your favorites?
Bobbie Ann Mason, Tim O’Brien, Toni Morrison, Denis Johnson, Bob Dylan, James Baldwin, Kurt Vonnegut, JD Salinger.
3) What is your newest work, and what is going to happen in the future?
I am working on a novel about a runner who finished the 2013 Boston Marathon 20 minutes before the bombs went off.
4) Do you have advice or tips for Indie Authors?
Keep writing. Do not fear the blank page.
5) What influenced you as a writer?
All the authors listed above. My friends. Rock and Roll. Everything.
